The CanNeed-CBBT-100 Burst and Buckle Tester Bottom  for Cans determines the buckle pressure and the burst pressure of the 2 pc can.

The empty flanged can is placed in the holder. Cover the sample can with a shields and close the door, then the pressure is applied. The can is sealed with a rubber o-ring structure. Fast pressure increase up to 5 bar (programmable to just bellow the expected buckle value), from there the “speed of pressure increase“ may be set within the device. Pressure increase up and then the can buckles. The buckle pressure is shown in the display. Pressure increase up again and the test is terminated as soon as the can bursts. The burst pressure value is shown in the display.
Any can of various diameters and height may be tested: inserts are available that can be exchanged within seconds.

With CND-CBBT-1.0 analysis software, the measurement curve can be displayed, the measurement results are stored in the database
