Purpose：

CanNeed-ACTG-2000 is a fully Automatic Optical Coating Thickness Gauge with unattended mode, it adopts non-contact optical measurement technology to measure the thickness and weight of dry film. It is a standard equipment in the canmaking industry to realize the continuous and efficient automatic inspection on the sample cans.

Compatible with straight-wall cans and finished cans. No changing parts are required for different can sizes in can heights and diameters.

Technology Principle：

Appearance of Light Interference Theory: in the overlap area of 2 beams, some section strengthens and light blotch appears; some section weakens and dark blotch appears. Strengthening section is the same as the weakening section, which is the phenomenon of light blotch alternating with dark blotch. The condition is the same when 2 beams are with same frequency, or difference being constant. 2 beams, which can produce interference, are called coherent wave. The 2 light sources are called coherent source. Coherent source can be acquired by dividing one light into 2 beams.

Measuring Process:
1. Switch on the PC, open ACTG-2000 software, establish the testing template of sample cans to be tested: for example, as sample 202/211/330, input and complete the specific parameters of the can type in the setting interface.
2. Place sample cans to the waiting channel and click the START button on the software interface, the tester will run self-calibration before testing.
3. After self-calibration, the tester will run testing automatically, then the tested data will be saved automatically, all sample cans will be tested one by one.
4. Sample cans will be collected automatically after testing.
